Personal Life- This is my tenth year in Hayfield and it seems that the time has been flying. I've enjoyed working with a bunch of great kids and have numerous memorable experiences!

Outside of school I enjoy hunting, fishing, and being involved with softball. The waterfowl season starts by hunting ducks on lakes during the warm days of September in Iowa or Minnesota and continues until freeze-up in November. It concludes toward the end of December as snow, ice, and cold push the last of the geese out of southern Minnesota. Pheasants and deer take up some days afield in the fall and winter, but they're not as actively pursued as waterfowl.

Shortly after school finishes, I head to northern Minnesota for a week long fishing trip on Sand Lake. I usually make one or two more trips to Sand during the summer and I've recently started fishing more and more southern lakes in our state.

It's scary to think about, but I've ran the same softball team for eighteen years! This will be my eighteenth year of running the Hayward Days tournament and the tenth year of running the Albert Lea Early Bird. Through the years I've made a bunch of friends who enjoy the game as much as me!
